HFST, omorfi-open morphology for Finnish, Translation dictionary, version: fiwn-fien

These demos are based on the HFST finite-state versions of language models. All software can be downloaded from the HFST download pages and the language models have acquired from free/libre and open source repositories in various places on the internet. Further details in each language's result pages.

Finnish demos are based on GNU GPLv3 licenced open morphology for Finnish-omorfi . The dictionary data is based on Nykysuomen sanalista and Joukahainen, as well as contributions from omorfi developers. For more information see omorfi's home page.

Finnish translations and synonyms lookup uses the Finnwordnet data. Finnwordnet as connected to omorfi is licenced under GNU GPLv3 and Princeton Wordnet licences.

If you do not understand the langauge you are experimenting with and are unable to obtain example word from fi wikipedia, you may use talo as a test case
